Baked Salmon

Salmon fillets seasoned with salt, pepper, lemon juice, sour cream and finely chopped onions. Salmon is baked in high heat until cooked through.
Ingredients -

2-1/2 pounds Salmon Fillet
Salt and Pepper
2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
1 cup Sour Cream
2 teaspoons finely chopped Onion

 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 450 F.

2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.

3. Place fillets in ceramic baking dish.

4. Sprinkle fillets with lemon juice.

5. Spread sour cream over salmon. Sprinkle with finely chopped onions.

6. Bake 10-12 minutes.

Freezing Salmon
Freeze salmon within two days of purchase for best results. Place salmon in freezer paper or zip-lock bags with all excess air removed. Store frozen salmon up to 3 months.

Thawing Salmon
Place frozen salmon in the refrigerator to thaw, when possible. If you must hurry the thawing process, place salmon in airtight zip-lock bag and place under cold running water.
