Grilled Salmon Steaks With Citrus Dill Butter

Salmon steaks are brushed with glaze prepared from butter, chopped fresh chives, chopped fresh dill, fresh lemon juice, and coarse salt. The steaks are grilled using the direct heat grill method and served topped with herb butter and fresh dill sprigs.

Ingredients -

2 tablespoons Butter, softened
1 teaspoon chopped Fresh Chives
1 teaspoon chopped Fresh Dill
1/4 teaspoon grated Lemon Peel
1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
1/8 teaspoon Salt
2 (6 ounces) Salmon Steaks
2 Fresh Dill Sprigs

 
Preparation:

1. Preheat grill to medium heat.

2. Add butter, fresh chives, fresh dill, lemon peel, lemon juice, and salt to small bowl.

3. Spread 1/3 herb butter to the top of salmon steaks.

4. Grill 3-4 minutes over direct heat.

5. Turn salmon steaks, spread 1/3 herb butter to the top of salmon steaks.

6. Grill 3-4 minutes, or until fish flakes easily and is cooked through.

7. Remove salmon from grill to platter. Rest 2 minutes before serving.

To Serve:
1. Plate salmon steaks and spread remaining herb butter over grilled salmon.

2. Garnish with fresh dill sprigs.
